XAP800
ClearOne’s XAP 800 is a highly-advanced
audio conference system that builds on
the legendary performance and market leadership of the AP800.
The Clear One XAP 800
features Gentner’s proprietary Distributed Echo Cancellation® and
exclusive noise cancelling technology for dramatically reduced echo and
noise. Twelve echo cancellation reference points provide easy setup and
better echo cancellation performance.
The unit features eight independent processing blocks—each with
15 filters, delay, and compressors—to provide more processing power than
any other teleconferencing system available. 8 channel automatic
microphone mixer, 4 line inputs and 12 outputs, in a matrix format. This
is a full-bandwidth professional DSP audio device. There
are many applications where the XAP-series are ideal where full-duplex
room-to-room audio reinforcement is needed, even independently of tele conferencing. The new Expansion Bus provides unparalleled flexibility in audio routing
and mic mixing when linking units together.
Other XAP 800 features include Gentner’s unique look-ahead gating
to eliminate audio clipping and the ability to maintain high audio quality
in rooms with up to 12dB of room gain.
The XAP 800 is built upon Gentner’s new software platform, G-Ware.
This software has already proven successful in providing easy programming
of Gentner's PSR1212 12x12 Digital Matrix
Mixer.
Also available, XAP400 (four mic channels with built-in telephone hybrid
and monitor amplifier) and XAPTH2 add-on telephone line hybrid.
