Apple Sound recently completed the installation of a new public address system at Centrica Glanford Brigg Power Station, North Lincolnshire.

Installed and commissioned over a period of eight months, the site-wide system features the latest in digital control and amplification. The end solution is a multi-zone installation, covering the 0.5 kilometre site both indoors and outdoors.

Announcements can be made from various points via a desk paging microphone and also remotely by dialling-in via the public telephone system. Pre-recorded messages can be activated to broadcast regular safety announcements either manually or from a building management system.
