Sound engineering expertise since 1979
Apple Sound celebrates its 30th year of business in 2009. Started by brothers Phil and Tim Brown back in 1979 as a mobile disco (yes, we admit it!), the business developed and the ‘disco’ sound system grew into PA hire for shows and events. Over the years, Apple provided sound for shows as diverse as BBC TV’s Songs of Praise, Superdogs, Lowenbrau Rapid Racing and the Rolex Jackie Stewart Celebrity Challenge.
For over a decade, Apple provided the sound systems for the Urdd National Eisteddfod and the National Eisteddfod of Wales. As the millennium came and went, the company focused on permanent sound system installation throughout the UK. Today, the business provides sound engineering expertise on projects by working with architects, M&E engineers and interior designers, as well managing complete projects for direct clients.
